How everything works.

Every feature explained properly — for tenants, landlords, agencies, hosts and service providers.

Short stays

Reviewing your stay

Reviews keep Rentor Stays honest. Only guests who actually completed a stay can write one, and reviews are double-blind — so nobody softens what they say just because the other side reviews first.

Who can review

Only a guest with a Completed trip can review that stay — every review you read on a listing comes from someone who really slept there.

Write your review

  1. Open My trips and find your completed trip.
  2. Tap "Review your stay" ("Review stay" in the app).
  3. Give an overall rating from 1 to 5 stars.
  4. Rate the details, each out of 5 stars: Cleanliness, Accuracy, Check-in, Communication, Location and Value.
  5. Add a comment if you like — how the stay went, in your own words (up to 2,000 characters).
  6. Tap "Submit review".

Why you can't see theirs yet

Rentor reviews are double-blind. Your review stays hidden until the host reviews you too — or until the 14-day window closes — and then both publish at the same time. That means neither side can read the other's words first and retaliate; you both write honestly.

After submitting, your review shows as hidden with a note like "Hidden until the host reviews too, or the 14-day window closes." Once revealed, it shows "Published."

The host reviews you too

Hosting works both ways: your host rates their experience of you as a guest — cleanliness, communication, and how you kept to the house rules. Once revealed, their review appears on your trip alongside yours. A good guest record builds your reputation on Rentor and makes future hosts happier to welcome you.

The 14-day window

You have 14 days after checkout to submit your review. When the window closes:

  • Anything already submitted is revealed and published.
  • If you didn't review in time, you'll see "The review window has closed." — you can't add one afterwards.

So if the stay mattered to you, review it while it's fresh. A few honest stars and a sentence or two help the next guest choose well — and help great hosts stand out.
