Messaging your supervisor

Every sales rep and every sales partner has a private message line to the team. It is one continuous thread — yours — where you can ask questions, flag problems in the field, or follow up on a notice.

Where to find it

  • Web — Message supervisor, under Team in your menu.
  • App — More → Message supervisor.

The page is titled Message your supervisor. Type in the box at the bottom and send; the whole history stays above it.

Who reads it

Your thread is read by your sales supervisor and the Rentor staff who run the sales programme — nobody else. Other reps and partners never see it, and it is not visible to general support staff. Replies come from the team and land in the same thread.

How it behaves

  • New replies notify you in-app and by push. The push on your lock screen says only that a message arrived — the text itself stays inside the app.
  • Your messages notify the team the same way, so a question does not sit unseen until someone happens to check.
  • Sending is lightly rate-limited. In normal use you will never notice; it exists so a runaway script cannot flood anyone's phone.

What it is for

Anything about your work: areas, leads, materials, a social post you would like made, your terms, a prospect situation you are unsure how to handle. For reps it is the private counterpart to the two open rooms — Sales team notices and The wall — where the whole team reads what you write. For a sales partner it is the one line to the team, and the right place for a question about a client you introduced.

Quick answers about how Rentor itself works — a feature a prospect asks about, what a plan includes — are in Documentation, in your menu, without waiting for a reply.

For problems with your Rentor account itself — sign-in, payments to you failing, app bugs — open a support ticket instead from Help & support, where the right team and tracking exist for it. See Support tickets.
